Lola Gold and Dal Bello SIFE will be present at the most important fruit fair in the world, Fruit Logistica 2020 in Berlin (Germany), from February 5th to 7th.

As every year, the Dal Bello SIFE management staff will share the exhibition spaces with the Agro Food Market of Padua (MAAP), inside the 3 halls entirely dedicated to Italian exhibitors (Hall 2.2 D-11).
Fruit Logistica 2020 hosts over 3,000 companies from 90 countries and I am proud to confirm that, as every year, Italy maintains the record of the largest delegation.

Fruit Logistica 2020 confirms itself as the essential meeting occasion between world operators of the fruit sector as well as the opportunity to present the new product line up.
For Dal Bello SIFE it will be the occasion to present, first of all, the new brand LOLA GOLD.

The traditional LOLA brand and the new LOLA GOLD brand

With the historical brand LOLA we have been bringing on the market for years high quality bananas and pineapples, selected and imported from Costa Rica.
But the desire to broaden horizons is a prerogative of the Dal Bello family and also for this reason we thought of the declination GOLD.

LOLA GOLD is a higher-end fruit designed to meet the demands of the most demanding consumers and pineapple is the first product of the GOLD line.

Pineapple LOLA GOLD

The LOLA GOLD pineapple differs from the traditional pineapple thanks to an absolutely natural process, the ripening on the plant. Pineapple GOLD ripens on the plant longer, on average 10 days longer.

This longer ripening time gives the fruit a pleasantly golden coloration. The pineapple acquires shades closer to golden-yellow than to the normal green coloration of the fruit nowadays usually distributed through the Italian large-scale retail trade.
This natural variation in the process makes it possible to maintain both the sweetness of the fruit and the compact consistency of the pulp, but allows the fruit to acquire a natural golden-yellow coloration.
And today, for the discerning and responsible consumer, the eye wants its part.

But that’s not all, the pineapple of the GOLD line also stands out for another important factor, the size of the fruit. Pineapple GOLD, dedicated to the Italian market, has a superior size calibration.
