For the Dal Bello family, crossing an entire century doing the same job means building a well-defined professionalism, accumulating a wealth of important skills and becoming a recognized and authoritative voice in their sector.

This is even truer when you have to invent the job from scratch, because no one has put it into practice yet. No one at the time was talking about exotic fruit in the Italian and then European markets.

Within these 100 years, we have explored the world and travelled to distant lands in search of the best fruit to import into Italy.

From the lush plantations of Central America to the North African cultivations overlooking the Mediterranean, the Dal Bello family began this business when “out-of-season fruit” was still a distant concept.

The years have passed quickly. Storage and ripening techniques have changed. International certifications for producers have arrived and distribution has expanded and branched out to cover most of Europe.

The world has become faster, the competition numerous and we are now facing an important challenge: to respond to the clear needs of a consumer who is attentive to the quality of the product as well as to broader values of ethics and respect for the environment. We import the best fruit and establish relationships with new producers, as if it were the first day.

The passion we put into our work has remained unchanged. It’s our fruit that now reaches further afield.
